Dr. Mark Romereim

Mark Romereim, M.D. created The Attention Center because he grew up with ADHD. He understands the giftedness that’s often a benefit of ADHD, as well as the challenges it creates. He approaches ADHD not as a “disorder” or a “deficit” of attention, but as a biological difference in how the brain works.

Dr. Romereim is one of the most highly regarded psychiatrists in Kansas practicing child psychiatry. Difficult medical cases are frequently referred to him because of the time he takes with his patients to develop a comprehensive understanding of the problem and address the needs of the entire family.

Dr. Brock McKay

Brock L McKay, Ph.D., is a State of Kansas Licensed psychologist and independent practitioner at The Attention Center. Dr. McKay works with children, adolescents and adults. His professional experience includes psychological testing, psychotherapy and work with depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and attention deficit disorder.

Dr. McKay's personal passion is working with adolescents and adults to confirm identity. Every person has intrinsic value, but many struggle with knowing that how they function is different from who they are. Good therapy works with the patient from where they are to answer three critical questions: Who am I? Where do I want to go? How do I want to get there?
